Description

The Ring Nebula (M57) - is a planetary nebula in the constellation Lyra. It was formed during the final stages as a star about the size of our sun shed some of its mass before collapsing into a white dwarf, which can still be seen if you zoom. This image was produced from 3 hours worth of total exposure time, taken with my Celestron 6SCT with a .63 focal reducer and ZWO 533 MC Pro camera.
